Vance Says (Wrongly) Trump Won in 2020, Won’t Say If He’ll Concede With Loss in November

Confronted by a reporter from The Good Liars, J.D. Vance changed his non-answer from the debate to saying — wrongly — that Donald Trump won the 2020 election.

Trump lost the popular vote by more than 7 million ballots. He lost the Electoral College by _ votes to Joe Biden.

And his refusal to concede the race, coupled by his numerous claims that the election was stolen and his riling up a mob of his loyalists in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6, led to violence at the Capitol that day.

Here’s the clip:

Reporter: Who won the 2020 election. Just answer, did Donald Trump win?

Vance: Yes.

Reporter: He did win?

Vance: Yep.

The reporter then shifted the question to, “if your opponent gets more votes, will you concede?”

Vance turned slightly, as if he would answer — and then, he didn’t.
